National Neonatology Forum-Kashmir ( NNF-Kashmir) is the official body of Neonatologists and Pediatricians from the Kashmir Valley who are also the members of National Neonatology forum India. It came into existence on January 19, 2023 when National Neonatology Forum under the president ship of Prof. (Dr.) Praveen Kumar approved its formation.

Despite the fact that neonatal mortality is the major determinant of infant and under five mortality throughout the world, an official body or association of doctors providing neonatal care in the valley was nonexistent to date. There was an urgent need of a vibrant forum of local NNF- members to focus on neonatal care in the Valley of Kashmir. This forum has been brought into existence with the following objectives:
